Position Open: Rehab First & Capitol Hill Health Care in Montgomery, AL is looking for a 32 hour COTA to work in our short term and skilled nursing facility.

Information about the company: We are a small company (3 nursing homes, 1 pharmacy/medical supply) and family owned. At Capitol Hill Health & Rehab in Montgomery we have specialized short term rehab (similar to inpatient 10-14 day stays) and long term care rehab. You would see a variety of diagnoses including TKR, THR, stroke, cardiac, amputees, etc… 98% of our patients on our Rehab First unit go home. The age group you would see is 50s-100 with the occasional 30s -40s. We have an Orthopedic Medical Director on staff who rounds on all orthopedic patients on Rehab First. We are far from the typical SNF!!!!

Summary of Qualities for Applicants: Qualified candidates must have graduated from an accredited COTA program. Qualified candidates will obtain or have Alabama license. Candidates must be flexible, able to work with minimal supervision, and possesses the qualities of a team player. He/She will work along side 3 occupational therapists in the facility, with experience ranging from 5 to 20 + years.

This is a full time position with excellent salary and benefits, likely better than any you have seen. Your health insurance is FULLY paid for except for $250 PER YEAR (yes you read that right — about $20 per month) and that is for the family insurance plan (it is much less for a single, or single with dependents). We match 0.50 cents to every dollar up to 6% on 401k, pay for long term disability, life insurance and 28 days of paid time off per year. We also pay for licensure, $500 towards continuing education, and up to $500 for professional association dues. We also give two days off during the week per year for management approved continuing education. We are fully staffed at all our facilities with the exception of this facility. Therapists don’t leave us often.
